The Managing Director of  the Tanzania Tourist Board, Dr Aloyce    Nzuki recently in UK promoting Tanzania tourism industry. (Aloyce graduated at UYUI in 1981).

Dkt. Aloyce Nzuki was appointed by the President as the Managing Director of the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) w.e.f  from 16th March 2010.Dr Nzuki (48) is a long time civil servant under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism.

Between 1988 and 2008 he held various posts in the Tourism Division of the Ministry, starting from Tourism Officer Grade III. Eventually, between 2007 and 2008 he served as Assistant Director, Tourism Development.

Before the present appointment Dr Nzuki was on leave without pay, working as Assistant Professor of International Business Administration in the University of Salalah in Oman.

Dr Nzuki started his career as Bachelor of Statistics graduate from the Makerere University in 1988. Later, in 1993 he qualified for MSc. in Tourism Marketing from the University of Surrey, UK. After that he went for further studies in the USA where he got his PhD in Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management from Clemson University, South Carolina in 2006.Dr Nzuki took the post of the TTB Managing Director from Mr Peter Mwenguo who has retired.
