3 D  ART WORK AT TABORA

When I saw this 3 D art work in Tabora, I thought of sharing it to Uyui family. It is in Tabora, in one of the hotel at the Ali Hassan Mwinyi in Tabora. I know, to many this will be a news because carving and sculpture work is mainly dominated by the Makonde tribe from the southern part of Tanzania.

Uyui: Homage to Maalim Ahmada bin Salim

Msikiti wa Ijumaa Tabora

Buriani Maalim Ahmada Salim

Buriani Maalim Ahmada bin Salim.

Inna Lilahi waina Ilaihi Rajiuune

Obama, Romney: If wish were horses, I would wish to watch more African Presidential Candidates debates

It is not the matter of who will win the debate, it is neither of what the reaction will be from Beijing, Tehran or Moscow…. it is about the footprints and lessons that can be drawn by African countries in their presidential campaigns as we have just watched or observed.
From our narrow thinking as Uyui wordpress, we believe the era of African dirty political presidential campaigns (if any) would not lead African nations to a meaningful social economic prosperity BUT the BRAIN and decent campaigns will definately DO. I would wish to watch more such presidential debate in African countries as we have watched matured, advanced and decent US presidential debate. Definately the presidential debate is an eye opener to Africa. What is probably important is where applicable such good practises should be customized to fit and address African context “….debating without wrangling…” If wish were horses, I would wish to watch more African Presidential Candidates debates in the near future. We are in a global village.

Uyui: Cassava (Muhogo) A plant with 100 percent utility Muhogo unatumika kwa asilimia 100

Cassava or Muhogo in kiswahili, a plant with 100 utility. the leaves and roots are used as food while the sterm is used as fire wood. cassava has multiple usage and it is easier to convert to whatever format one wants. cassave cake, chips (chips dume), cassava can be used at breakfast as snacks or as a meal cassava flour (ugali). Cassava can withstand climate change and is a popular food south of Africa since 17 century where it was brought in from South America. Wanyamwezi till recent times were in favour of potatoes rather than cassava. To them especially in the past time cassava was considered as a food to take during femine or hunger period. A family that was eating cassava was considered as a poor one. Over time things have changed and cassava is gaining its unprecedent popularity especially to Uyui and Taborian like no other business.

LADHA YA MUHOGO NA JINSI WANYAMWEZI WALIVYOKUWA WANAUCHUKULIA
Mhogo unayo matumizi mengi. Muhogo umepanda chati kuliko ilivyokuwa awali. Waliosoma Uyui wanajua jinsi Mihogo ya Mzee Amiri iliyotiwa pilipili unga na bizari jinsi ilivyokuwa mitamu hasa rojo lake. Rafiki Akber Somji alikuwa anasema HOGO TAMU KULIKO KATE (MKATE).

Uyui: He doesnt deserve a sorry!!! Huyu hastahili kupewa pole ni mbakaji

Hastahili pole.

We know that the media is required to be decent. fine! we know and appreciate that No one is supposed to take law at hand. okey. The man in the picture is alleged to rape a young girl at chemchem area in Tabora. What you see is a mob justice. By any defination he does not deserve a sorry. picture by Juma Kapipi Blog.
