EARTHQUAKE HAS HIT EL SALVADOR JUST AROUND SOME MINUTES AGO. THIS IS A HUGE ONE.

Reuters) – A major earthquake of 7.4 magnitude hit in the Pacific Ocean about 78 miles (125 km) off the coast of El Salvador late Sunday night, the U.S. Geological Survey said. No destructive Pacific-wide tsunami is expected, and there is no tsunami threat to Hawaii, the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center said.The center said, however, that although it did not know if a tsunami had been generated, a warning was in effect for Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama and Mexico.The earthquake struck 74 miles (120 km) south of Usulutan, El Salvador, at a depth of 33 miles, the Geological Survey said. There were no immediate reports of damage to coastal areas or to shipping.

(The Cinema Hall currently has been converted into a University). Natubhai is currently residing in UK and living a postretirement life in stan more. Following the comments about the Cinema hall, some of which was posted in Tabora network, Mzee Natubhai was pleased to hear all those stories and complements. For those who might not be aware Natubhai disclose that the cinema was built in 1953 by Rajbai Hirji and was named in honour of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations for the Agakhan, hence the name Diamond talkes. Natubhai’s father Hakubhai Mehta was the first Manager of the Cinema and run it successfull until 1969 after which he retire. From 1969 his brother Pratap and him run until 199. After 2000 the late Divyesh Shah ran it and thereafter the cinema was no more.
