This is the Tabora Market. it was built in 1970s. The market is at the town centre near the tax stand and old bus stand. the Market is just adjacent to the Mnara wa kura tatu, a momument which was built to commemorate the bold decision made by TANU in 1957 where they decided to go for three ballots in the struggle towards independence.
The market is full of natural food of different varieties including natural vegitables and is surrounded by shops where one can buy necessay commodities for domestic and other usage.

This building is the left on the roundabout while you are heading to town centre just from Uyui Secondary school. on the right hand of the building i.e the right side of the road (though not seen in the picture) was the KASSU filling station and the Football stadium. Uwanja wa Vita. behind the Building there is a Collage-Teacher Training collage and along just opposite the Teachers Training collage there was HR primary School, currently called Mwenge Primary School.
